We are back in Mexico, and this year we timed it to celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) which seems to be a huge trend in the US.
The Mexican culture is always something that intrigues me. I love that they embrace and celebrate the dead and teach this from an early age. The Katrinas (little girls dressed up as walking skeletons with elaborate dresses, hats and makeup) are always so fun to see.
This year, we were joined by our friends Nancy and Rob from
Shindig and Kathryn and Robin from
Agave Azul. I was inspired to dress up this year.
It was a fun process, and everyone joined in the fun!

This was my second time attending an event at this place, and was my first business event here (the other event was a charity show). Everything at NYC venues was perfect, the drinks and food was amazing. Even the coffee was wonderful.
