Happy Birthday, Mike! He turned 51 this week. To celebrate, we did a hike and a barbecue at his dad's house. Little did he know that he would be putting together the grill we gave his dad for Father's Day.

The next morning we took Ellie to Snooze at Union Sation for brunch. We had an hour and 1/2 to chat while we waited for our table.
No resemblance whatsoever...Ha!
While we were there, we spotted our friends Betsy and Kenny from Alcyone. They were there with their son who lives outside of Denver. Small world!
That evening we went to City Park Jazz and heard two of my colleagues from DU. Our friends MaryAnn and Chris joined us.
Ellie and I got some good sister time in with lunch and shopping, and ended our time together with a concert at Denver Botanic Gardens with our friends Kathryn and Marc.
What a great weekend!!
