Sailing in Croatia

After a couple of days in Rovinj with Al and Lynn, we took a car service to Pula where we chartered our 43' sailboat for the week.

We had a little motor sail to our first anchorage.  It was crowded where we were heading, so we found a place far away from everyone.  We anchored just in time for It was a really good decision, as a storm came up in the middle of the night and two boats dragged.

We sailed to the beautiful town of Cres shown here in all its brightness and glory.

We had a great downwind sail today but we had 25 knots, so the phones were put away.  We made a yummy Italian dinner tonight with a beautiful salad and garlic bread.  And amazing wine.

The next morning we had a calm anchorage for a swim after breakfast.

It was a wonderful trip!  We highly recommend sailing in Croatia.

  3. Fractional boat ownership is a popular choice for many people who are interested in owning boats but don't have the time or money to purchase their very own vessel. Finding shares in a launch for sale is quite easy, and allows you to have a great time on the water without rental fees or having to spend more than you can afford. BoatsIreland

  5. You don't have to stay on an island to enjoy the Adriatic Sea. Try staying on the coastline in a beautiful city like Dubrovnik, which is a city based on pleasing visitors and providing luxuries and a healthy dose of Croatian culture. here
